A little shopping and touring...

Tonight trying to do get an update on an online friend's adoption I was led to a blog and decided to click on it knowing I couldn't read it but I could. So I looked at mine; I wonder why it works from here. Wow do I ramble... it doesn't seem like that much when I type. :)

This morning started off as rough as always but overall was a pretty decent day. She only cried for 1/2 the time tonight going to bed which was a nice change. She was in a great mood at dinner considering we had a long day - a trip to a museum and some shopping. I didn't buy a whole lot (a pearl necklace for Brynn when she is older) but the other traveler in our group did and Brynn was very patient.

Brynn loves to take her shoes, socks, and hair accessories out both when she is in the middle of playing like a mad woman, in the car or her new BRIGHT orange stroller, and in her tantrums. She giggles at the reaction she gets when she "tickles" grandpa's feet. And she loves to eat everything. Tonight we ate at a restaurant and sat outside because even though it was hot, I felt better should she have a melt down. She didn't and in fact, she learned how to use a spoon tonight (today in the playroom she used two stick toys like chopsticks and pretended to eat so I am pretty sure that is what she is used to) and ate what I am sure were her first few fries; just a few though since she loves healthy food and I hate to ruin that so soon!

Tomorrow is the wrestling match... oh, I mean her medical appointment. Can you tell I am not optimistic?? Dinner cruise in the evening. Not sure how I feel about being trapped on a boat with her yet... Better get some sleep!

Another good day --yay!! Love that you got her a pearl necklace for when she's older. That will be a really special gift for her when she hears about when/where you bought it. Those pics of her sitting at the table to eat are precious. She is definitely showing signs of improvement, which we're all so happy to hear! Good luck with the medical appt tomorrow -- hang in there!

Kate,
Just wanted you to know that we are really enjoying 'sharing' your journey and seeing all of your wonderful pictures. You are in my thoughts and prayers constantly. Brynn is beautiful and she is blessed with a wonderful loving family. What an awesome "baby book" this will make some day :)
Love,
Sherry

We love hearing your thoughts!

It sounds as though Brynn is starting to settle into a routine!

Before she learns to eat junk food can she set a healthy example for my kids...just for a few days ...please???? Then I will treat her to some fries!

Noah wants us to practice using Chopsticks before she comes to eat with us...I am not sure how that will work with PB&J or Yogurt!

I hope the Doctor goes well! Enjoy your last few days in China!
